Wow, thank you for writing this article! I enjoyed reading the many benefits milk has to offer.

I love milk since childhood! When I was a child, I would often wonder why many Europeans have healthy looking teeth an stronger bones. My mom said it’s because they drink a lot of milk. To this day I still believe her.

In Indonesia, we didn’t have it as common as European countries at the time.

Now, I tend to prefer lactose free milk because my stomach don’t handle lactose well.

I have never been a milk drinker, not even as a kid. Recently though, I started making my own sweet coffee at home. It is cheaper than going to Starbucks. I do half a cup of cold brew with half a cup of milk and some flavoring. Since I started drinking this in the morning, I noticed that my skin is feeling softer and I feel as though I am sleeping better. So there certainly is something to it!

  3. Amber M says:

I am starting to wonder if my teeth issues and hair issues have been down to a calcium deficiency because things have been getting worse since I was told to cut out milk from my diet. I am lactose intolerant so I cut out most dairy. I only have cheese now and then and maybe a bit of butter. Would I get the same benefits from drinking lactose-free milk?

After going into a calorie deficit, I’ve been afraid of drinking too much milk due to fear of weight gain! I know just everything in moderation is key, sometimes that trauma builds in that calories are your enemy. Trying my best to remove that mindset and get on a better relationship with food. I’m glad that milk is a clear good food and it makes you healthier!

It has been proven that milk has many powerful properties for your body’s health, but actually the human body (at least the full grown human body) is not made to digest milk and does not need the milk itself, it actually needs the substances that are found in milk, but also in a lot of other products. So you can always replace milk with high quality food which contains the same vitamins, calcium or other nutrients. More and more people develop an intolerance to lactose or even milk as a whole. It is said that nearly 65 % of the population are unable to digest lactose.

This is a really valuable post. Milk plays a very important role in human life as a food from birth. One thing I have heard is that breast milk can protect against diseases like diabetes and cancer. In fact, I’m used to apply milk with turmeric on my face once a week. Because it has the power to moisturize and reduce the signs of premature aging.

  8. Tina says:

This makes me feel better about the milk my family drinks. I’m a big cereal fan and my kids and I usually have a bowl every morning with whole milk and sometimes through the day they might have a glass of chocolate milk with lunch. During the summer months I encourage more water and juices though because I think milk might be too much on the stomach while outside and playing but they still get some in the morning. I knew about the vitamin D and calcium but just learned about the other health benefits. Pretty cool! I wonder if cooking with milk { ex. Macaroni and Cheese} takes out the health benefits?

  9. We people consume products which contains milk everyday in our daily life. People take milk since their birth so it is a very basic need. Milk is used in a lot of food items everyday.
    This is good information
